I took the plunge and purchased to shiny new GoPro HD Hero 2 cameras. They’re arrived, have been packed in a nice hard case, and will be available for hire very soon.
At some point soon too I shall take them out for a test run in various situations, with one of the original GoPro cameras shooting side by side for a comparison.

Just an update on the situation here. I’m still in Iraq, and I’m likely to be here for at least another week.
Sadly, this means I’m not available for any shifts or gear hire until at least the 22nd of January. Please don’t hesitate to email with any enquiries though, we’re not completely cut off from the world here.
That’s right. I’m off to Australia for a very brief holiday, then on return I’m being deployed to the Middle East for bureau cover.
As a result, I’ll be unavailable for bookings, or for the loaning of equipment until January.

One great, and one not as great, depending on your situation.
The great one, is that Nick is now Hostile Environment certified. The certificate was issued by Pilgrims International. A copy can be forwarded to you should you be thinking of using my services in hostile environments.
The second, is that Newsworthy Vision is now VAT registered. As a result, any invoice with applicable services being charged for, will now have 20% VAT added.
